Tom Lannon is a singer songwriter based in Manchester, UK. An acoustic soul artist, playing guitar and piano, Tom has a wide range of genres including soul, motown, blues and modern.
Tom joined Manchester based blues-rock band Karma in 2002 as lead singer-songwriter, providing rhythm guitar on the songs 'Climbing Up The Wall' and 'Riverside'. Tom is currently a full time musician, playing private parties and weddings, and can often be found performing solo gigs across Manchester. On New Years Day 2012 Tom played at Liverpool's Cavern Club.
In 2008 Tom recorded his first solo acoustic album at Leeds University. In 2009 Tom finished his second album. In 2012 Tom is due to record new material with a broad range of influences including collaborations with other local artists. Tom is influenced by a number of artists and performs tracks by Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, The Beatles, Curtis Mayfield, Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones, Paul Weller, Paulo Nutini, Kings of Leon, The Black Keys, Ray Lamontagne and many more...
