Evoking the sound of 1930s Paris, The Scorching Hot of London, Wiltshire and Somerset brings you sizzling gypsy jazz tunes from the golden era of swing. Rooted in the style of Django Reinhardt, this band of musicians will get your feet tapping! They perform in a number of different combinations to suit your event. Anything is possible between a guitar duo all the way up to a full swing ensemble of 6 or more musicians.

Spread across the south of the UK they began a regular meet up at The Pound's own gypsy jazz jam session - run by Alex - as well as at various music festivals and local jam sessions, sharing a passion for the music of Django Reinhardt & Stephane Grappelli, and everything 'Gypsy Jazz'. Playing together regularly at concerts and private events they have developed a broad repertoire of swing tunes that will keep your party going all night!
