Vocals / Electric Guitar / Acoustic Guitar / Piano / Drums Dave discovered music aged 6 or 7, tinkering along on the family piano. It very soon became apparent that he had a real talent for it. He discovered drums and guitar in his mid-teens and has developed his own style. Dave and Matt first met when Escape was formed in 2001. After 3 years he then became the drummer/vocalist for local four piece band, Industry of Sound. By the time Industry of Sound disbanded in 2005, Dave was also working on a number of song-writing projects both at University in Derby and at home, including original band Feuds & a covers band named Vertigo (once again with Matt). Dave has mastered a large collection of instruments over the years and could be described as a musical aficionado. He has achieved exam grade 8 on Piano and also adds Guitar, Bass Guitar and Drums to his growing list of talents. Over the last 15 years Dave has performed on drums and piano at a number of large venues throughout the UK, he is also regularly called upon for session work, large shows, charity events and in his spare time he enjoys producing and recording for local musicians in his home studio and conducting private piano lessons for a number of students. Dave studied Music Technology and Popular Music at University before embarking upon a PGCE qualification in 2007. He now teaches music at a middle school in Leicestershire.
