An early musician at the age of 7, Dan has developed his unique funky sound from a wide range of influences not only as an interpreter but an arranger of music in a wide variety of styles.
Being a devoted funk and soul maestro, the soul cat sounds of Maceo Parker combined with the more contemporary sounds of Candy Dulfer have carved Daxʼs unique soulful tone developed to date.
Currently taking his influences from the deep soulful underground sound of the Miami house vibes, Dan is beginning to make a true name for himself where sophistication and class all come as standard. Danʼs achievements to date have been wide ranging; successfully touring his own jazz funk band round many parts of England and being noticed by Jamie Cullum as one of the most exciting talents of our age during The Big Audition competition with Charlese Allen.
