Olivia

Olivia has been singing and had lessons since she was 10 years old, she is a classically trained mezzo/ soprano singer and has recently completed a classical voice training course at Chethams School Of Music with Janice L Chapman. Her classical influences are Maria Callas and Katherine Jenkins. She loves taking a pop song and crossing it over into a classical number to give it a unique spin. Olivia also grew up singing jazz standards and classic 1940's/50's songs. Olivia is influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, Keeley Smith and Doris Day and try recreating their authenticity when she sings. Olivia also loves musical theatre songs she has just finished a musical theatre course at the New York Film Academy in New York. Olivia was in a girl group for three years and did a lot of pop and acoustic country music, so can work well with harmonies and reading music and also work well with other performers. Olivia sings at large scale events and weddings across the North West, and she also sing's at local restaurants, hotels and bars around Manchester. Olivia has plenty of experience in a recording studio and has recorded an album under Sony in Australia when she was 19 years old and she worked along side The Panics. She enjoys going to her local studio and recording covers and videos and doing backing vocals too.
